Project Coordinator (Young People) - Edinburgh

  • Hybrid, home working with office bases at
    Straits Meadow, 61-63 London Road, Edinburgh
    and Fisherrow Centre, Musselburgh
    Main work will be carried out in schools across Edinburgh
  • £24,929 – £28,041
    Pension: 5% employee, 5% employer contributions
    Life Assurance: 4 times salary
  • Full time (35 hours a week)
  • Permanent
  • 8 weeks per year
  • Number of positions: 2
  • Closing Tuesday 30 April, 12:00pm (noon)

We’re looking for two Project Coordinators to join our team and support schools in the Edinburgh area. The successful applicant will be responsible for working as part of the Positive Transitions team, supporting children, young people and their families in the transition from primary to secondary school. The role supports our strategic aim of ensuring a positive school transition for all children across Scotland. Please note, this role is internally called Positive Transitions Coordinator.

This post closes at 12pm (noon) on Tuesday 30 April, with interviews taking place on Tuesday 7 May and Wednesday 8 May.

National Helpline Intern

  • Hybrid, home working with office bases at

  • £22,374 (pro-rata)

  • Fixed term
  • Number of positions: 1

We're looking for a National Helpline Intern to join our Reconnect team. The successful applicant will be responsible for working as part of a team, supporting our national helpline, Connecting Scotland. The helpline provides over-the-phone support to people all over Scotland to use devices like computers, laptops, tablets and smartphones, and ask questions about digital. The role supports our strategic aim of ensuring that everyone in Scotland is digitally included and has affordable data. We work towards this aim by managing a national digital support helpline and by providing one-to-one and group support in communities.

This role is open to applicants of any background and any age above 18. We’re particularly interested in receiving applications from people who are from ethnically diverse backgrounds, living with a disability or from low-income households.
