Developing our core projects
The report also provides further details of our core projects, communications and key events such as Trains of thought. This year through our project Shaping your future, we consulted with 553 local residents of the neighbourhoods of Craigentinny and Loganlea, listening to their ideas and determining the best ways to support their needs. Our Positive Transitions service continued to grow as our largest service, recruiting and training dedicated VIPs, establishing ourselves in 18 schools and continually building on our numerous projects to support over 1,000 children and young people this year. On the digital side of the charity, Re:Connect conducted 120 digital drop-ins with over 500 hours of digital support, leading us to our current review of the service which is relaunching soon. Finally, our Research Briefings project and database grew significantly this year, resulting in 6 new high quality briefings and the relaunch of 10 existing briefings.
