A Fundraising & Development Coordinator role with a difference

People Know HowNews

We’ve partnered with Queen Margaret University to offer a role that combines real-life experience as our Fundraising & Development Coordinator with a degree in Business Management

People Know How are delighted to announce that we're partnering with Queen Margaret University to be part of their Graduate Apprenticeship Programme as we recruit for our new Fundraising & Development Coordinator.

Founded in 2018, the Graduate Apprenticeship Programme offers places for people who wish to study BA (Hons) Business Management whilst continuing to work. In working with People Know How while studying on the course, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to develop practical skills in fundraising for an organisation, while studying core business management areas and benefiting from guidance and mentoring from both academic and charity staff.

Three people holding up signs: Work Learn Earn

“This is a really exciting opportunity for People Know How. As supporters of people continuing to learn and develop, a Graduate Apprenticeship does exactly that, providing people with an innovative way to study at degree-level whilst working and being paid. Investing in staff through apprenticeships also gives us confidence that they will share their knowledge and contribute to People Know How continuing to develop and grow.”

Glenn Liddall, Chief Executive & Founder, People Know How

The Graduate Apprenticeship Programme offers students the same learning opportunities as those who go down the traditional route of direct entry into college or university. Studying for four years, one day a week, is dedicated to studying, the other 4 to work, enabling students to apply their academic learning to real-life situations whilst still earning a good salary.

“We are delighted to be working in partnership with People Know How and supporting this fantastic opportunity in this fast-paced fundraising and development sector. Graduate Apprenticeships are a great way for people to gain skills and knowledge from a range of business professionals and at Queen Margaret University our team from the Business School are looking forward to sharing their expertise”.
