Donate to our Aviva Community Fund to end data poverty in Scotland

800,000 people in Scotland are estimated to face digital inequality, affecting their social and financial wellbeing. Help us change that by donating to our Aviva Community Fund page and supporting our work to end digital exclusion in Scotland.

Join Team People Know How

15 September 2024

Join our team in the Edinburgh Kiltwalk on 15 September and walk to raise money to support our services. The Kiltwalk has something for everyone, whether you’re a seasoned marathon-goer, a casual dog-walker, or a family with children looking for a great day out! Routes range from just 5 miles in the Wee Wander, to 15 miles in the Big Stroll, to 21 miles in the Mighty Stride.

Why take part?

Every penny raised as part of our team will go to our work to improve wellbeing across communities, supporting children, young people, families and adults. From purchasing art materials used in sessions with vulnerable children and young people, to providing mobile data for someone experiencing digital exclusion. You can find more examples of how we use donated funds on our Donate page.

You'll also get:

  • A free People Know How t-shirt to wear on the day
  • Support from our fundraising team
  • Pit stop snacks and refreshments
  • Kiltwalk medal
  • Finishers meal

In return, we're asking all those signed up to the Big Stroll and the Mighty Stride to commit to raising £150 minimum for People Know How, with those taking part in the Wee Wander making a ‘wee commitment’ of their choosing. Don't forget, if your sponsors are eligible they can help you donate up to 125% of what you raise to People Know How by using Gift Aid when they donate through your fundraising page.

Last year, we raised £3,406.25, help us smash this total and register for a place on Team People Know How today!
